Hi, I’m Michelle!
- wife to an outdoorsman.
- mother to twin teenage daughters.

- adventurer in both the kitchen and great outdoors.
I am passionate about striving to manage my time wisely, and consuming foods and drinks that fuel my body. I like to be sensitive to God’s direction for my life and spend quality time with my family. My family and friends consider me to be a “health geek” due to my excitement over crunchy homemade Kale chips or a fantastic brew of Kombucha. Consequently, I LOVE to share healthy recipes with new and old friends.
In addition to eating great food, I love to take adventures! My husband and daughters willingly accompany me on many adventures. One trip that comes to mind is traveling through miles of remote cow pasture in western Wyoming to find a fossil digging mine. We left with wonderful memories, lots of incredible fish fossils, and basically the adventure of a lifetime!
My formal medical training over the years has been as an Emergency Medical Technician and Wilderness First Responder. I have been an American Red Cross Instructor for 26 years, teaching workplace CPR, AED, First Aid, Wilderness First Aid and Waterfront Lifeguarding.
I loved being a Wilderness First Responder and I had many fulfilling years teaching students about becoming a lifeguard. However, these formal trainings did not steer me in the direction of making healthy choices.

Intentionally Healthy Living is compromised of articles to encourage healthfulness and relevant health topics to aid in your success. Life is busy! So please, use the free printable recipes that include breakfast, main dishes, snacks, and desserts. All my recipes are gluten-free with an emphasis on nutrition. Many of my recipes are grain-free, low sugar, and best of all easy! Join me and my family as I share travel tips and adventures that keep us refreshed, active, and aid in reducing stress.
