Essential Oil Use for Teenagers
Teens enjoy finding their own solutions to relax and improve concentration. I think it’s wonderful they are learning alternative remedies. One key to remember is “less is more” when using essential oils.
One note about looking for quality legitimate essential oils; take time to research where the company harvests their oils. The distilling and extracting process is just as important. If you see an oil that the price is “too good to be true”; it’s most likely not true oil!
Companies like to dilute the oils by using part essential oils with artificial fragrance. These type of oils are actually more harmful to your health.
Young Living is a reputable essential oil company. They know exactly what field the oil comes from and how it’s extracted. You’ll pay a little more for quality oils but in the long run it’s worth the extra.
