In a few short words, this describes me at the moment:

Manager of the Home
I love cultivating a healthy peaceful home for my husband and my daughters. It’s all about balancing the desire for adventure and keeping the home running smoothly. We’re definitely not perfect but I’m fortunate to have a family that truly works together.
Two of my goals are striving to manage my time wisely and consuming nutrient dense foods and drinks. It’s important to me to be sensitive to God’s direction for my life and spend quality time with my family.
Health Food Geek (or Guru)
It’s okay to be different! (Smiling). My family knows I get excited over crunchy homemade Kale chips, brewing Kombucha, nutrient rich chicken broth and finding new ways to consume collagen! Oh, and let’s not forget chia pudding!!!
It’s also a delight to share recipes with those that want to eat a cleaner diet or discovered they have food allergies or food sensitivities.
Love for Adventure
It’s no secret that I love a great adventure!
My husband, daughters, and black lab willingly accompany me on many adventures.
One trip that comes to mind is traveling through miles of remote cow pasture in western Wyoming to find a fossil digging mine. We left with wonderful memories, lots of incredible fish fossils, and basically the adventure of a lifetime!
My philosophy is you’re never too old to go exploring and playing outdoors. Just a few of my loves are rock climbing (indoors and outdoors), mountain biking, hiking, and camping.

Why Intentionally Healthy Living?
How did I get to this place of desiring to live a healthy life? It actually wasn’t by choice. I had to get to a place where I was tired of being sick and wanted to be well. Choosing food without gluten and dairy was by necessity. Read more about my story in My Journey Began.

Life is busy! So please, use the free printable recipes that include breakfast, main dishes, snacks, and desserts. All my recipes are gluten-free with an emphasis on nutrition. Many of my recipes are grain-free, low sugar, and best of all easy!
