Organic Lemon & Ginger Root Tea

Ingredients

  • 1 lemon organic
  • 5-6 slices ginger root organic
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. raw local honey optional

Instructions

  1. Fill your tea kettle (or cooking pot) with fresh cold water.  Bring it to a boil.

  2. Squeeze the juice from one lemon.  Set aside.

  3. Peel and slice a several slices of ginger root. Set aside.

  4. In a tea cup, add 1-2 T of fresh lemon juice and 3-4 slices of fresh ginger root.  Place Once the water comes to a boil pour over the lemon and ginger.  Cover with a cloth napkin or tea towel.  Let it set 5 minutes.  Drink warm tea.
