Homemade Oat Milk

Ingredients

  • 3 c. filtered water
  • 1 c. gluten-free old fashioned oats organic
  • cheesecloth
  • 1/4 tsp. pure vanilla extract optional
  • 1 quart glass storage jar

Instructions

  1. In a blender, add the oats and water.  Blend.  

  2. Pour "oat milk" through the cheesecloth to remove the fiber.

  3. Store in a glass jar in the refrigerator.  It will last between 5-7 days.

  4. Note, the fiber can be used in baking recipes or fed to your backyard chickens.
