Chia Cacao Collagen Smoothie

Dairy Free, Gluten Free, Egg free.

Ingredients

  • 1 cold banana organic
  • 1 c. dairy-free milk like coconut milk
  • ½ - 1 c. fresh spinach organic
  • 2 T. multi collagen protien powder
  • 2 T. cacao powder organic
  • 2 T. chia seeds organic
  • 5-6 cubes ice
  • 1 T. raw honey

Instructions

  1. A couple hours before you plan to make this smoothie, peel, cut and freeze one banana.  You can do this overnight as well.

  2. In a small blender, grind your chia seeds.  I like to use a small coffee bean grinder.  Set aside.

  3. In a high powered blender, add your dairy free milk, ice cubes, banana chunks, spinach, collagen,  cacao powder, chia seeds, and raw honey.

  4. Blend until smooth, approximately 20-30 seconds.

  5. Serve immediately!
